Important: The animals will only be slaughtered once ALL corresponding farm boxes have been sold. This ensures that the entire animal is used and that you receive the freshest products delivered to your home. Our farm partners will then deliver the boxes directly. The delivery date you selected at the end of your order remains unchanged. If you order multiple items, the non-farm box items will arrive on your chosen delivery date. The delivery date for the farm boxes is fixed; therefore, the delivery date selected during the ordering process will not be used.

At WAGYU WAIZ's farm, real WAGYU cattle graze on green pastures!

The WAGYU WAIZ farm in the beautiful Birgland region aims to produce the very best Wagyu beef from happy, healthy animals and has been working diligently towards this goal since 2017, raising 100% fullblood Wagyu cattle! The animals have a full 40 hectares of arable land and meadows at their disposal. In addition, 25 hectares of forest are managed for energy production.

WAGYU WAIZ – Everything for the happy Wagyu cattle!

The prized cattle at WAGYU WAIZ truly lack for nothing. They are fed a varied diet of corn, hay, cod, grain, and protein supplements. This feed is, of course, produced GMO-free from land they cultivate themselves, so WAGYU WAIZ always knows exactly what's in their feed. The animals also live in small herds, which promotes their well-being. Each animal has a name and is carefully tended to, allowing for daily human interaction and the resulting knowledge of each animal, enabling them to be handled according to its individual character. In the summer, the cattle graze on fragrant herbs and tender clover grass. A shelter and old fruit trees provide protection from wind, rain, and the scorching midday sun while they graze. And once the old pasture is grazed down, the mobile grazing trailer ensures a completely stress-free transition to a new one.

In winter, the animals certainly don't have to freeze; they enjoy a comfortable, bedded barn with plenty of room to move around. While WAGYU WAIZ isn't a certified organic farm, this was only prevented in the past due to limitations in land area and machinery, as organic certification requires strict guidelines in various areas. As a farm that prioritizes animal welfare, WAGYU WAIZ uses no genetically modified feed, no glyphosate, and completely avoids the use of pesticides on the pastures. This meticulous approach benefits the animals and ultimately the finely marbled meat, even without the "organic" label.
