Simmental cattle originate from Switzerland, more precisely from the Simmental valley in the Bernese Oberland. This breed was traditionally a dual-purpose breed, used for both meat and milk production. In the mid-19th century, this large-breed cattle breed was introduced to Germany and Austria and is now primarily used for beef production. Its excellent genetics and species-appropriate husbandry make Simmental beef a true delicacy.
Kreutzers TKF – Frozen fresh for the best quality!
For some of our products, you'll find "TKF" after the name. This means you can choose the frozen version when ordering. For sustainability reasons, we flash-freeze products well before their best-before date to maintain their high quality. Don't be confused by a different best-before date on the packaging – this only applies to chilled goods.
Frozen fresh doesn't mean inferior quality, but maximum enjoyment whenever you want.
Packaging and storage
Our minced meat comes in a convenient package containing two 250g portions in casings. This allows you to flexibly use exactly the amount you need.
Instructions for preparation
We recommend thawing gently in the refrigerator. Simply place your frozen food in the refrigerator 24 hours before preparation, and it's ready for your cooking fun!
