Produced exclusively for Schwamm & Kreutzers from the finest meat of Elsenbach pasture-raised pigs , this classic brings genuine flavor to a jar.
The animals are raised in a species-appropriate and natural environment on large, rotating pastures in Elsenbach – with retreats in the forest, straw huts, their own spring, and without confinement or medication. Old, robust breeds such as the Bunte Bentheimer pig, the Husumer Protest pig, or the Mangalitsa woolly pig – known for their excellent flavor – are used.
The Lyoner sausage is processed by a regional butcher directly at Schwamm in Saarbrücken – with great care and love for the craft.
