Important: Our partner Pahle always ships your fish the day before your chosen delivery date via DHL (naturally with sufficient cooling for a two-day transit time). This means that 80% of packages arrive on your desired delivery date, and 20% arrive the following day. The exception is orders placed on Saturday, which are always shipped the following Monday. Since fish is a natural product and the fillets can vary in size, you may receive two pieces instead of one to ensure the stated weight.
Smoked Wild Salmon – Classic
Fish farming is prohibited by law in Alaska – there are no salmon there that have to be fattened up and treated with chemicals in factory farms. PAHLE sockeye salmon is completely natural, contains between 3 and 5 percent fat, and is particularly rich in valuable omega-3 fatty acids. The fish is gently smoked.

PAHLE takes great care in the curing and smoking process to preserve the quality of the fish. They are cured for two days with a mixture of salt, sugar, and a secret blend of spices entrusted to Mr. Pahle by the Ksan tribe during his trip to Canada in 1979. The salmon are then carefully dried and cold-smoked over special smoking chips. A truly exceptional delicacy!
